You are liable for all activities conducted through your account. TechShop Kenya is not responsible for losses resulting from unauthorised use of your account where you have not taken reasonable precautions to keep your credentials secure.
Orders & Payment
Placing an order on TechShop Kenya constitutes an offer to purchase. All orders are subject to availability and our acceptance.
Order Confirmation
You will receive an email confirmation once your order is accepted. This does not guarantee stock availability; we will notify you promptly if an item becomes unavailable.
Accepted Payments
We accept M-Pesa, debit/credit cards, and bank transfer. All prices are listed in Kenyan Shillings (KES) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Pricing Accuracy
We strive to display accurate prices. In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund. We will notify you before doing so.
Order Cancellation
You may cancel an order before it is dispatched by contacting us promptly. Once dispatched, our returns policy applies.

We deliver across Kenya. Delivery timelines and fees depend on your location and the selected delivery option at checkout.

Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays caused by third-party couriers, adverse weather, or public holidays are beyond our control.
Risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.
Ensure your delivery address and phone number are correct at checkout. Re-delivery charges may apply for failed deliveries due to incorrect information.
For bulky or high-value items, a signature may be required upon delivery.
Returns & Refunds
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our returns policy is designed to be fair and straightforward.

Acceptable Use
When using TechShop Kenya, you agree not to:

Use our platform to transmit malware, spam, or any harmful content.
Impersonate TechShop Kenya staff, agents, or other customers.
Resell products purchased from us without our express written permission.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, legal action under Kenyan law.
Intellectual Property
All content on TechShop Kenya — including text, images, logos, graphics, product descriptions, and software — is the property of TechShop Kenya or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.
- Product images and descriptions are provided by manufacturers and are used with permission.
- User-submitted content (such as reviews) remains your property, but you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on our platform.
- Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, TechShop Kenya's liability is limited as follows:
Indirect Damages
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Maximum Liability
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
Third-Party Services
We are not responsible for the actions, content, or policies of third-party services linked to or integrated with our platform, including payment processors and delivery partners.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including strikes, natural disasters, or government actions.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
- Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties.
- If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to mediation in accordance with the Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration (NCIA) rules.
- You and TechShop Kenya agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts for any unresolved disputes.
- Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act (Kenya).
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or by placing a prominent notice on our website. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
